A terracotta vase and saucer complement each other in form and function, creating an object with a coherent language and clear purpose.
The saucer perfectly complements the vase and reveals the presence—or absence—of water within. The three vases in the collection consist of a truncated cone with a cylindrical base that fits perfectly into the saucer, whose cross-section allows for its connection and centering with the vase. Vase and saucer are created together; they are a pair; one cannot exist without the other; they interact and function harmoniously and completely.
