Mario Scairato

Mossa is a rocking chair designed for personal domestic spaces earmarked for rest and reflection.

Its padded seat is supported by curved iron tubes that envelop the frame and back of the chair and define its continous shape: like a line, a simple outline that envelops and defines the armchair. The tubular parts are interconnected by hand-forged iron rings: an expressive structural detail that also heightens a tension between rigidity and fluidity.
